Novell 5.1. I think I can convince the customer (very small site - 3 PCs)
to use TCP/IP on a peer-to-peer and he is talking about purchasing a windows
server.

I would love to start using Linux but have just started the learning curve.
I also rely heavily on FreeUDFLib (however I think there is a Linux port?).

Unfortunately, the support was discontinued, because nobody is
maintain the source for it. What some did is put a Linux box(it
doesn't have to be an expensive computer) on the network to run
Firebird. This can be done because Novell is supposed to support
TCP/IP. Also, which version of Novell are you talking about?
