hello all,
i moved a database of about 40MB from a single to a dual processor machine
(both have linux as their os). therefore i switched from superserver to
classicserver to take advantage of the dual cpus. but while all other
db-operations are executed faster with the cs-architecture, it now takes up
to 30s to attach to the database (no matter if i use tcp/ip or access the
file directly). this happens with all firebird 1.0.x versions but not with
1.5. does anybody have an idea whats going on ? or should i stick with
superserver until 1.5 is released ?
Mit freundlichen Gruessen / Best Regards
Lutz Müller
