Hi all,
I've been using IB/FB in a Windows environment for years, but I'm new
to running a server in linux.
After the server runs fine for a while, all new connection attempts
are refused with the following error:
ISC ERROR CODE:335544721
ISC ERROR MESSAGE:
Unable to complete network request to host "192.168.168.40".
Failed to establish a connection.
The system could not find the environment
option that was entered.
I haven't been able to find any references to "environment options" in
any of the list archives, so I'm stumped at this point.
The server is RedHat 8 running FB 1.0.3 Classic. The clients are a
mixture of RH 7.2, RH 8, and Win 2000 Pro, all using IB Objects to
connect to the server.
Does anyone have a suggestion for how to determine the cause of this
error?
Best Regards,
David Montgomery
