FB1 works on just about anything, I have it running on some really old
distros (SuSE 6.1), and all the lastest distros. FB1.5 seems to be a
different story. I can't get it working in Redhat 7.2 or any version of SuSE
earlier than 8.x, but not tried anything else.

Kylix is another story all together. I have Kylix 2 installed on SuSE 8.1+,
but there are problems with Kylix 3 on most distros other than the supported
ones, but there are some 'fixes' in Borlands codecentral to get it to work
with newer distros (I know somebody who has it running on SuSE 8.2).

Personally, whilst I can understand the problem with Kylix (being a closed
source product from a company with a major lack of resources), I am not sure
I understand fully the reasons behind the FB1.5 situation.
