Don't use them myself, but I imagine if you start the query executing in
its own thread, it may do away with the problem... You just then need to
get into thread management in your application.

I have some difficult to explain to my application users the windows
task manager status "Not responding" not means problem, but simply the
application is waiting for server response. Have any tip or trik to
prevent that this happens?
