Hi all,
OK - now I have got Firebird and Interbase running on the same machine
quite well. I now want to move from accessing FB via IBOConsole to using it
in Delphi apps, but being able to switch back to the production DB and code
as required.
My thinking at the moment is to simply rename the gds32.dll found in
win/system to, say, gds32.bak, and replace it with the gds32.dll that comes
with Firebird.
I would then need to change my connection strings in the IBX database
components that I use in the production code.
Any comments?
Thanks in advance
Tim
