I'm not certain whether the field definition explicitly contains the
collation, or whether it is only default for the database. Anyway, the field
is reported as having NO_NO collation (I am not anywhere near the database
until Monday).

Norwegian characters are ÆØÅ. They do not cause any problem. But if a field
contains Ö (the Swedish equivalent of Ø) then the incremental searching of
IBO fails to locate records sorting below this Ö.
