Also both databases will try to use the same TCP port, so one of them has to move.
I believe it is port 3050 as standard, so you will have to look in the documentation to move the firebird install to port 3051 or similar.

Hi,
problems arrived when I've tried to install FireBird 1.5 superserver
on a computer which already has interbase 6.0. So the installation
freezed. But in the documentation, it says that FireBird can be
installed with Interbase.
That's why I decided to use embedded server.
