I have used Sybase system 10, 11 and 12 very extensively, both ASE and ASA.
I have also used the various versions of MS SQL Server (which are very
similar to Sybase), as well as PostgresSQL and other DBMSs.
FB / IB is real quick and easy to pick up. ANSI SQL defines a baseline
standard - what you can and do do in each of the commercial DBMSs depends
on the DMBS itself. So picking up FB SQL is no big deal.
