Thanks for the help Peter.

Does anybody know how to change the char set of a current DB? Some Alter
statement or something? Or do I kneed to create a new DB and Pump the
data across

These characters are supported by ISO_8859_1, but
also a lot of other character sets.

I suggest using ISO_8859_1 for interoperability and best
support in Firebird.
