I noticed a big performance degration when FB server and my application run on different computers on the LAN.

App and FB on the same computer (using local proticol): ~ 4 mins
App and FB on the same computer (using IP protocol) : ~ 6 mins
App and FB on the different computer : ~ 9 mins <---------------------------------

My app inserts records in a database ( Prepared "INSERT (...) VALUES (...)" ).

I tested Win2000 and WinXP configurations.
(Client and Server computers are almost identical. 100/1000 Mbps LAN low trafic).
