Hello,
can somebody confirm this:
I am running FB 1.5 RC3 SS on a Debian-Linux Server together with an
Apache webserver, PHP and Perl-CGIs (using DBI). After approximately 2
or 3 days Firebird freezes and does not accept connections anymore.
Before it freezes "pf" shows me:
/usr/local/firebird/bin/fbguard -f
/usr/local/firebird/bin/fbserver
/usr/local/firebird/bin/fbserver
/usr/local/firebird/bin/fbserver
/usr/local/firebird/bin/fbserver
/usr/local/firebird/bin/fbserver
/usr/local/firebird/bin/fbserver
/usr/local/firebird/bin/fbserver
/usr/local/firebird/bin/fbserver
/usr/local/firebird/bin/fbserver
after freezing the number of threads has DOUBLED!
there are no errors in firebird.log which indicate problems or the
freeze.
the only way to solve the freeze is to restart firebird.
I am not able to specifically reproduce this problem it appears
unregularly.
Is it possible that some windows client application which still use
the client-dll (gds32.dll) of firebird 1.0.2 cause this problem when
connecting to Firebird 1.5 RC3 ???
Thanks for help!
