Hi all,
This is a very basic question on application design using Firebird.
We have an application accessing Firebird through Interclient. This
application opens a connection with Firebird and then creates some threads
wich will make read/write transactions. All these threads use the same
connection openned in the beggining of the application. This program is
meant to be used as a service and it never closes the connection with
Firebird. The point is that our data bases are growing too much.
Is this the right approach for developing multithreaded applications
accessing Firebird? Do you know why could our databases be growing this
fast?
Thanks in advance,
Diego Moreira da Rosa
