Subject Re: encode in Linux red hat
Author ronaldorezende
All my database's objects are created with the win1252 character set.
In windows and linux, I use win1252 to connect to the database.
In Linux Conectiva (a brazilian distribution), I haven't any problem.
Recently I have been installed RedHat 9.0. In RedHat, the records that
I retrieve from database aren't been displayed correctly. If a change
the character set of the database's conection, the records are
displayed correctly.
What can I do to solve this problem?
I don't want to compile version of the program to RedHat linux and
other to Conectiva LInux.
