Just for the record, I have many customers using XP as their server, and
they are having no problems at all, connecting from both XP and windows
98. They didn't have to do anything special... Just installing the server
as normal, and connection via either IP address or host name.

That's not to say that there's NEVER a problem. There is the occasional
connection problem with any version of Windows.
