In win2000 I can use embedded firebird (Firebird-
1.5.0.3253_RC1_embed_win32.zip) very well, but ...

I can't get it working in win95 (with IE 5.0). My delphi DB-Express
program says "Unable to Load GDS32.DLL". Embedded firebird in
GDS32.DLL is present in the program folder and I know that program
can find it, because if I rename it then program starts using server
version of firebird. I tried to unistall server in case it could
confuse my program, but it didn't help.

Can anyone point out where the problem might be?

I think, embedded firebird could be the best solution for desktop
database applications (as it is lightweight and simple to install and
yet leaves possibility to easily upgrade program to client-server
version), if it worked with older systems too!
