I just tried using FbEmbed (WI-T1.5.0.3253 version) on Windows XP to
access "non-local" databases. Non-local meaning in one case the
database is on a Novell Server, and the other case the database is on
a remote PC connected by Microsoft Networks. In both cases I receive
the same error message "unavailable database", that I expect I would
receive from Firebird Server.
Could you please let me know if there are any plans to allow FbEmbed
on Windows to access non-local databases, or is this supposed to work
and I am doing something incorrectly?
