After downloading Firebird 1.5 and following the installation
instructions as previously enumerated in message "Installation
problem" posted earlier today and after running the DOS command
C:\Firebird\Firebird-1.5.0.3233_RC1_win32\bin\instsvc.exe start
I get the following message

Error occurred during "OpenService"
Windows NT error 1060
Service "Firebird Guardian" not started.

The result is that Firebird will not open.

Any suggestions as to what I have done / am doing wrong?
