Same troubles here.
Server: Mandrake 9.1
FB: LI-V6.2.908 Firebird 1.0 (currently)
tried FB servers: FirebirdSS-1.0.2.908-1.i386,
FirebirdCS-1.0.2.908-1.i386,
FirebirdSS-1.0.2.908-1.64IO.i386,
FirebirdCS-1.0.2.908-1.64IO.i386
Client App. Written in Borland Delphi 7 Prof via BDE
error message in interbase.log:
<servername> (Client) <timestamp>
/opt/interbase/bin/ibguard: bin/ibserver terminated abnormally (-1)
