I'm trying to convert a database from Access2000 to Firebird 1.02.

One table has the datatype MEMO which can hold a string up to 64k
long.
What datatype can I use in Firebird ?
What is the maximum length for a VarChar ?
((Maybe I'm blind but) I didn't find that in the DataDef. Guide)
