AFAIK Classic does not support the Services API (yet).
Most GUI-based database admin utilities like the ones
you mentioned make use of the Services API for backing
up databases etc.
So you cannot run these utilities against a Classic
server.

Try to google for some GUI-based frontends for gbak etc. if
you do not like the command line ;-)
