There are *no* plans to discontinue support for the Solaris port -- in
fact some work has been done to integrate the port into the automake
build process.

Having said that, however, I should point out that support for the port
is entirely dependent on the contributions of volunteers.

If the Solaris port is important to you, the project would be more than
willing to support your efforts in working with the sources for the
