Hi

a friend of mine gets the same error messages as those
mentioned by Johannes Pretorius in a message with
subject "Interbase connection problems" about a month ago.

unable to complete network request to host "HostName"
error reading data from the connection
unknown win32 error 10054

I want to ask you what was the solution to that problem,
if there was one...

Searching the archives did not help me in locating the solution.
