Hi I'm very new to firebird. I've been thinking of moving from MySQL
and was thinking PostgreSQL but Firebird seems way better.

I've searched around a bit about replication, not sure if this is the
proper place to ask but...

In the OpGuide.pdf file, it says the platforms supported are various
windows and solaris but that is sorta old.

Is there a IBReplicator for linux, including the gui manager?

Also in the OpGuide.pdf it says that replication occurs directly
between servers. So if there was two linux servers, the replicator
manager just provides instructions to the databases to communicate
directly?
