In addition to the typo (split line) for the inetd.conf install on MacOS X there is also a misconfiguration in the file:

/Library/Frameworks/Firebird.framework/Resources/English.lproj/var/inetd.conf.isc

makes reference to /usr/interbase when it should be:

/Library/Frameworks/Firebird.framework/Resources/bin/gds_inet_server

Right?
