Unfortunately, I can only confirm what you are seeing. I can't run FB
1.0 and FB 1.5 simultaneously. FB 1.5 was supposed to be designed to
run at the same time as IB and FB 1.0.

I wonder if it's because of the local connection(IPC) that is
interfering. I might be wrong, but what could be the cause. If FB 1.5
is running, I doesn't start FB 1.0(the status stays on Starting). And,
as Stephen wrote, if FB 1.0 is running, you can't install the FB 1.5
service.

I've also forwarded the message to Firebird-Devel.
