We've built an application for
Internet: Server is an FTP-Server. The communication flows over the
Internet. We forced, that f.e. opening a query occurs about 40 Kb
network traffic: 1 record with one field in the table! With any type
(other than LAN) of connections it osts a lot of time. Why is the
traffic so high? Why is not only sended the
connection and the SQL statement?

Please, help!!!!
