I shouldn't really be commenting but I feel that I must. <g> One of the
issues about getting changes into IBX is that Borland now owns it and they
ultimately make the decisions of whether to make certain changes or not.
Although Jeff still does the work, at the moment, it is not up to him
totally what direction IBX takes. Of course, being a Borland product, it
won't even try to be compatible with FB. Many of the suggestions that I have
seen turned down are either having to do with Firebird or are improvements
that only help a select few. Bug fixes, errors and the like, are always
considered and mostly implemented.
