thanks to firebird development group!

Yesterdays I had converted a DB from MYSQL 3.49 to interbase 6.
A 550,000 records table with 65 fields and 60 indexes.

Now I had made some benchmarks with a professional profiler, the
result for the same query select with some logical matching are the
following:

1) mysql -> ~965 msec
2) interbase6 -> ~650 msec
3) firebird 1 -> ~650 msec
4) firebird 1.5 beta2 -> ~230 msec !!!!!!!!!!!!
