If you've heard it a lot (as I'm sure you are right.. then you must have
missed the many very full explanations as to why... You'd be better off
doing a search on "primary key" on the yahoo list and you'll get plenty of
info back

I've heard this a lot here, but I don't think I've ever heard an
explanation of why. If you can guarantee uniqueness of the PK, and use ON
UPDATE CASCADE, then why not let it have "business meaning"?
