Hi, I'm using Delphi IBO and I'm very happy with it. I feel that,
sooner or later, would be great for me contribute to Linux Free Source
community with some programs GPL, for KDE in particular, and I would
like to use Firebird as a database.
I've the feeling that for having contribution from the community, I
need really open sources tools, and C++ language, so Delphi OO is not
good for this.
I'm wondering if there is data access and visual control components
that are Free Source to be used with QT and KDevelop, or in general
what is the possibility for Linux, outside Borland products, to use
Firebird database.
thanks
