Firebird-java messages then - even as a programmer - it can
be a bit overpowering. Some of it is more obscure than the
firebird developer list <g>

get it running but that was some time ago, and I do want to
get Firebird working with OpenOffice so now that jaybird is
looking a bit more stable I'll probably have another go. A
jaybird getting started quide is needed, but I don't think
even I could write on yet <bg>

So while Firebird-jave is the correct list, I would suggest
that somewhere less daunting for mere mortals may be
required to support 'Simple Users' who ever they are - but
then perhaps only the gods can answer the questions anyway <s>
