Jonathan,
Did you copy *both* client dlls from \bin to the system directory? There
are now two, fbclient.dll and gds32.dll. gds32.dll is now stubbed out to
call fbclient.dll, therefore, if you leave the old gds32.dll in the system
directory,
it won't work.
