Hi,
Recently, I've reemplaced my Interbase Server 6.0 with Firebird
1.0.2. My applications have been developed with Delphi 5.0 and
IBExpress components.
The problem is the server hangs very often, disconnecting all the
users, without any error in the application, that is, the server
hangs and I don't know why. It didn't happen with Interbase.
I began to use Firebird because I've read that It's better, and some
bug of Interbase are corrected. I've seen that Firebird is faster
than Interbase with sql querys, and I'd like to continuing using it,
but due to hangs of Firebird I've to use Interbase again.
Perhaps I've to use FreeIB components, or another components, other
than IBExpress. I don't know. What can I do?
