We have a client who have during the batch run last night (importing data
from a host system into their firebird db) got the following error.

database file appears corrupt ()
wrong page type
page 2135463 is of wrong type (expected 5, found 7)

At the time when the error occurred the existing PurchaseOrders in the
system was being deleted before the new POs were imported. The deletion of
the POs are simply a delete * from PO_table.

My question is: are there any known causes that could get the above database
corruption to occur. I am pretty sure that the flushing of the table is not
the issue.
