Hi,
Firebird takes about 10 seconds to startup on my debian/unstable.
(The box is an Athlon2200) The logfile gathers plenty of
"connection rejected..." errors.
/etc/hosts.equiv has a line "localhost firebird"
Firebird is setup to run as the user "firebird".
Version is: LI-V6.2.908 Firebird 1.0
/var/log/firebird.log is attached
Why does it take so long?
regards,
Yves
