Hi all,
I have a customer was running FB 1.03. His server was incremented with
one more network card, totalizing now 2 ethernet cards. After this cards
are reconfigured, the firebird server 1.03 stop running and nothing more
make it run. I uninstall it, remove directories, install it again and
the fb don't run. Them, I remove it again and install FB 1.5 RC6 SS. It
run now. After this, all clients are connecting without problems, even
using old GDS32.DLL and BDE. But on server, that I have one app
connecting to fb too, didn't work anymore. When my app try access the
database, I get "unable to complete network request...: broken pipe". I
try both IP addresses and localhost too (127.0.0.1) and even without ip
(only path) but the error persists. This app uses dbexpress, by the way
and run like a daemon. Anyone have some clue for this problem??
