I haven't heard of anything for 1.0.x. I hadn't heard of the slow
disconnection problem except on WinXP Pro.

No. But if it's the slow connection is caused by the SystemRestore problem
(or its Server2003 equivalent) wrt isc4.gdb, it should only affect the
first connection.
