If this is the wrong list, please educate me.

Is there anybody who has done an analysis of the differences between
Firebird 1.5 and Interbase 7x. I am looking for a technical comparison
between the two database engines, where the two databases give the
advantage or not, which one is faster than the other, etc.

We are now using Firebird 1.0.3. We will need to make a decision to go
Firebird or Interbase. My gut feel says that Firebird is the way to go.
I need to justify this choice at a director level.
