thank you very much, just out of curiosity was the server hanging
whenever this error occured while using superserver?
and could you provide me with an example localhost entry for linux? it
has been quite a while since i have actually done linux server
administration at that level, since i setup the server the only tweaking
i have had to do has involved samba (use to be a database server for
paradox now im upgrading the system to interbase/firebird)
