i get the following error when i try to register my events using TIBEvents in delphi
'Unable to complete network request to host "10.1.1.1".
Failed to establish a secondary connection for event processing.
No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it.'
it works fine when using a firebird 1.0.3 server on my windows xp laptop (localhost using the connect string "127.0.0.1:c:\vcs.fdb")
only gives me the erorr when connecting to the redhat server, the libc is 2.1.3... any suggestions? would preffer to avoid upgrading my distro as the current sco garbage has me staying away from kernel 2.4.x untill the dust settles.
