AFAIK you can't repair NICs - throw them away if they prove faulty.
But if you have this error on all connections it's unlikely to be all NICs.
Is there a router all these machines go thru? It's a LAN right? message
21156 provides my most difficult 10054 error.
bottom line is that 10054 means your connections are being broken by some
hardware somewhere. it may take some tracking down to find out exactly which
piece of hardware is might be.
