Subject Re: [firebird-support] Win32 10054 error, Firebird-Linux, clients-Windows
Author Johannes Pretorius
Good day
\=-\==\-=\

What you can try is to do the following when the error occurs again On a
Win2000 machine .

A) Click on Start then go to Run.
B) In the box being displayed type CMD
C) Press enter and a black DOS box will be presented.
D) type in the following : tracert 172.22.22.2
E) If there is * being displayed go on with the test.
E) Wen this program has finished running take a screen shot by pressing Alt
+ Print Screen or just plain Print screen
F) Open WORD or Paint Brush or your e-mail program and paste the image in
there CTRL + V
G) E-Mail this to the Administrator stating that there is inconsistency on
his network ?

This is the best I can help with. Normally gives a good idea of what went
wrong.

Hope this helps.

Johannes
