I've just installed Firebird 1.5 RC7 on Windows 2000 Professional, and
verified that the service name of Guardian changed to "Firebird
Guardian - DefaultInstance"

Is this a new feature of RC7, and is it going to continue this way?

I need to know this because I'm preparing a Firebird Setup and I want
to Stop the service before installing it.

Another question:
Wich is the Firebird 1.5 official Control Panel applet?
