Hi all,

I've just installed firebird 1.0.3 on a Windows 2003 server and have
found low performance on database logins. After some searching in google
i have taken following actions:

1.- use .fdb extension for database files (not a big issue)

2.- gfix -mode read_only the isc4.gdb security database (ouch!)

Now firebird server speed is OK, thoug i can't create or modify any user.

Any suggestions?
