Too week for business ?
Just a good joke - we run IB for 10 years - with a 4GL a survived all
thinkable catastrophes
even a hard disk crash - we cd solve some records from a table - and keep
this DB file with 430 relations -
consistent in an 80 user environment 24 / 7 .
I used to work on Oracle 6 form the early 90tes - I know the difference -
and I definitely will not go this road again. even cognos wanted us to
migrate from IB / FB
to Oracle - no chance ...
the cross database link is nice to have really - we realized it within 4GL
and Coldfusion means...
and made a lot of replicators by embedded SQL.
