Hi,
quite often I create a backup on windows (with gbak.exe -b -v), and
restore it on linux/unix with these switches (gbak -c -r -v).
Note that I never used the -t(ransportable) switch, but it always worked
well.
Is this normal?
Is it better to use -t always, also when backuping and restoring on the same
platform?
thanks and regards,
