I am sorry if this is a common question, I have tried to look at IB Phoenix
and have looked at Firebirds website. And it states
that FB can be used for commercial application.

I want to make sure that I understand this correctly, can commercial
application that uses a 2 - tier module use FB as there core database
and make money from it , without paying money for FB ?.

If so this is interesting and shows that a person really needs to make
donations as anybody can use and abuse it to there benefit.
