Hmm, it seems IBConsole can't do a remote backup.

I've googled "TIBBackupService" and "remote" and the wisdom out there seems
to suggest that the component doesn't implement service_mgr at all. :-( I
don't have time to inspect the source but perhaps you could do that
yourself, by picking up whatever is available from CodeCentral...
