Hi,
Does Firebird have a problem with memory usage?
Although the IBServer process doesn't appear to be using a lot of
memory, the server as a whole has very little physical memory
available and the swap file in use is very large.
It seems a bit strange to have such a large amount of cache being
used when there seems to be plenty of physical memory available. And
I asumme this is having an affect on the performance
FB1 is the only non-OS application running on the NT4 server. FB is
used 24 a day.
Are there any actions I can take or setting to be made to alter this
characteristic.
Thanks,
Sean
